In fall 2023, progressive world folk stars The Trouble Notes will return to North America with their critically acclaimed show More Violins, Less Violence. Representing musicians for Four different continents, the group brings an intercontinental perspective to their performance which has been called “a must see show” by the BBC in the UK. Packed with tracks from their newly released album Liberty Awaits, the group brings the listeners on a transatlantic musical voyage that has been described by BBC’s Rob Underwood as “an eclectic fusion of genre across the entirety of the musical spectrum, creating a sound that is truly unique to its own.” Fresh off of the success of a European summer tour highlighted by performances at Glastonbury Festival, Wickham Folk Festival and Castlefest, the group are excited to perform for the first time in the United States since 2019.
